Meacham Creek Bonifer Reach Floodplain Reconnection and In-stream Enhancement – Project Areas 3 & 4
Floodplain and channel improvement with levee removal, channel reconnection, large wood placement, and riparian plantings.
Treated over 1.6 miles of Meacham Creek by removing 3,385 linear feet of levees and dikes, reconnecting 3,766 linear feet of primary and secondary channel habitat, and installing 69 engineered log jams with more than 537 logs with rootwads attached.
